Hats to suit your personality
Are you a mother of the bride who believes ‘elegance is not standing out, but being remembered’?
Or a racegoer who thinks that ‘people will stare, make it worth their while’?
Perhaps you are a performer or a business who wants something a little bit different?
Whatever your desires, let Susan at Mill House Millinery create the hat of your dreams.
As a child, I had always loved dressing up in my gran’s hats. My passion for making them started in 2009, at a taster Day at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Since then, I have taken many courses with professional milliners, and in 2019 decided to have a complete career change. I hung up my IT auditing hat, and became a full-time milliner.
Ready to Wear
If you want a hat immediately, take a look at my Ready to Wear Collection. Everything here is already made, and ready to be delivered to you.
If you just fancy something small and easy to wear, take a look at the fascinators and headbands. All are immediately available.
If you see something you like in the Ready to Wear section, but fancy it in a different colour, get in touch with me for a Bespoke Commission.
Do you want to learn how to make something both beautiful and meaningful?
My workshops get folk together with food, drink, conversation and making something for themselves.

This was written back in 2015. I didn't have a domain name or website. I didn't know then that I would actually move to live and work in Basel in October 2016. As I started pulling material together for my own website, somehow, somewhere I found two old blog pages...
